  1. Fiasco Patch Release 2.01

  4. This is a patch release, which patches Fiasco release 2.0 (Version 5.416)
  5. to Fiasco release 2.01 (Version 5.459).
  6.  
  7. Fiasco 2.01 fixes some important bugs in Fiasco 2.0. For a list of the
  8. changes, see the Fiasco documentation.
  9.  
  10. The patch can be automatically applied to the installed Fiasco 2.0
  11. distribution using the included Installer script.
  12.

  16. The Program "Fiasco" and associated files, hereafter called Fiasco, are
  17. provided "as is". No representations or warranties are made regarding to
  18. accuracy, reliability or correctness of Fiasco, either expressed or
  19. implied. In no case am I responsible for any damages caused by this
  20. software.

  22.     Fiasco is not Public Domain. I reserve all rights.

  25.     Fiasco may be redistributed under the following conditions:

  27. ·  The program package has to be complete. Starting with release 2.0, the
  28.    distribution has been due to its size divided into several parts. The
  29.    archive Fiasco_main.lha contains the main program, libraries, locale
  30.    catalogs and example databases. The archives Fiasco_doc_eng.lha,
  31.    Fiasco_doc_deu.lha and Fiasco_doc_ita.lha contain the Fiasco
  32.    documentation in the respective languages in AmigaGuide and TeX-DVI
  33.    format.  Because of the seperate archives for documentation, the main
  34.    archive does not contain any documentation.
  35.    Thus, you must distribute at least one of the language archives. It is
  36.    still strongly recommended, that you distribute all archives of the
  37.    Fiasco distribution, especially when you distribute Fiasco on a
  38.    CD-ROM. Distributing Fiasco in unarchived form is allowed, as long you
  39.    keep the conditions stated above.

  41. ·  Because Fiasco 2.01 is released on Aminet only as a patch archive,
  42.    which patches Fiasco release version 2.0 to Fiasco release version
  43.    2.01, some of the issues described above, do not apply here.

  45. ·  Fiasco may not be distributed for commercial purposes without a
  46.    written permission by the author. This includes the distribution of
  47.    Fiasco for excessively high prices. You may only charge a small fee
  48.    for media and copying. The distribution on CD-ROMs is allowed, if the
  49.    price of a single CD-ROM is not higher than USD 20 or DM 30.
  50.    Distribution on cover disks or cover CDs of magazines is allowed, if
  51.    the price of the magazine is less than USD 10 or DM 12 in the case of
  52.    floppy disks or USD 12 or DM 16 in the case of compact disks.

  56.     I grant herby special permission to distribute Fiasco on the "Meeting
  57. Pearls" CD-ROMs and on the "Aminet" CD-ROMs.

  59.     There is a special floppy disk based distribution of Fiasco 2.0. It
  60. consists of two disks with archived contents and an installer script
  61. which has been adapted to handle extraction and installation
  62. automatically. This distribution is not available via Aminet. If you are
  63. interested in it, send me a mail and the shipping costs listed in the
  64. Registration Form. You will also recieve this distribution if you order a
  65. registered Fiasco version on DD disks.

  67.     If you include Fiasco in your PD collection, coverdisk, etc. and a
  68. copy is left over, you may feel free to send me this copy.

  70.     The keyfile, which you recieve after registering for Fiasco, is not
  71. freely redistributable. You may use it only on your own computer system.
  72. Manipulating the keyfile is also prohibited.

  74.     textfield.gadget 3.1 is Copyright © 1995 by Mark Thomas. The complete
  75. textfield.gadget distribution, including developer information, can be
  76. found on Aminet or on the Aminet Set 2C CD-ROM in dev/gui/textfield.lha.

  78.     gtlayout.library is by Olaf Barthel. It may be freely distributed and
  79. freely used. New versions of the gtlayout.library appear frequently with
  80. `term'.

  82.     WBPath is Copyright © 1994 by Ralph Babel. The WBPath developer
  83. information is distributed with Fiasco in the Development/WBPath
  84. directory.

  86.     LX is written by Jonathan Forbes and Copyright © 1993 by Xenomiga
  87. Technology. LX is used by the installer script of the Fiasco disk
  88. distribution. The complete LX distribution can be found in Aminet or on
  89. the Aminet Set 2A CD-ROM in util/arc/lx103.lha.
